The minimalist design of the character in the background is incredibly effective. It's interesting how the foreground charachter seems to be attentive to the fact that she's in the background without really looking at her.

I think a rougher texture, or mix of textures, and a bit less 'shine' would make the foreground character look a bit more realistic. There's something there that's just a bit more 'cartoonish' than real, although I'm not quite sure I've nailed down exactly what it is that makes it seem that way. I think the smooth textures are a part of it, though. Not to say that the character is not well done; it certainly is.

Beautiful job on the anatomy of the background character, and the large hands of the foreground character look great. The eyeshine is well-excecuted, as well.

Great smoke, and beautiful background colours. Love those hands. Everything is very well-lit.

Keep up the great work; your gallery is quite stunning and I'm sure you'll continue to go far with your art.
